Learning Disability Week 2021 (14th-20th June 2021)
/This years theme for Learning Disability Week is; GET ARTY
I use art throughout a lot of my work and use it to explore different sensory experiences. This week I have been using face paints to explore art. We explored their colour, what they felt like and how they felt when we drew on our skin. We drew lines, circles and shapes.
The good news was that the face paints washed off really easily too…..phew! I also stayed away from C’s face due to skin sensitivities and the fact she rubs her eyes. But she loved exploring the textures and shapes being drawn on her arms and legs.
